Gloria Rodgers has the experience Council needs
Gloria Rodgers has served as your Summit County Representative for District 3 from 2009 to the present and is currently in her second term. District 3 includes the communities of Hudson, Stow, Silver Lake and Ward 8 in Cuyahoga Falls.
Gloria knows the County well, as she has been a lifetime resident of Stow and a small business owner for over 40 years. She understands that the creation of new jobs and business expansion is critical for prosperity and growth. Therefore, she is FOCUSED on the economic vitality of our County.
As a proponent of efficiency in government, Gloria voted to approve the plan to consolidate Job and Family Services and other County offices into the former Firestone complex in south Akron. Due to the location and availability of ample parking, this move will be good for the residents of Summit County – better serviced, better served.
Gloria also serves as a watchdog on county finances. She believes that government should do all it can to be fair to everyone. As a result, she adamantly supported fair redistricting in Summit County.
